The Bangkok Pattaya Hospital, located in the Resort City of Pattaya, Chonburi Province, was founded on 23rd June 1990. It is one of the 13 locations run by the Bangkok Hospital Group and is the main referral hospital for the Eastern Seaboard of Thailand.
We are a private hospital, offering quality tertiary medical care of an international standard (ISO 9001:2000 Certified). Our medical team consists of over 90 full-time physicians and more than 170 visiting physicians and we have the largest Dental Center in this part of the country with 28 Specialists. All our medical staff have extensive training and experience and many have graduated from, or have practiced overseas, all of which are dedicated to continually providing the highest standards of patient care. We have been awarded Hospital Accreditation in recognition of our high quality of care and for continually maintaining, improving and updating our practices.
We use the state of the art Medical Technology and equipment, including a 1.5 Tesla MRI unit and assisted by fully computerized patient medical records to ensure accurate data. Patients come from all over the world to seek their medical treatment from us. We realize that if you are far away from home, the last place you want to be is in a Hospital, so we provide the services of an international team to assist you, covering more than 20 languages and, in co-operation with the Immigration Department, operates a visa and passport centre. We are continually expanding, and The compound now had total inpatient capacity of 400 beds and the ability to take care of more than 1,800 outpatients per day.
In February 2004 we opened our Dermatology and Beauty Center where we offer Elective Surgery and many Beauty Treatments. The adjacent building, is an eight storey carpark, allowing an additional 800 cars to be parked safely. The top floor has a conference room for 500 delegates, which provides a center of continuous medical education (CME) for Doctors and other Medical Personnel from all over the world. Our Heart Center represents the pinnacle of cardiac care in this field, providing quality care of an international standard. It is recognized and used as a regional referral center for other hospitals.

In the past, if we talked about hospitals, everybody would think about a stressful and depressing ambiance, surrounded by unpleasant odor. Nowadays people are looking for more than just servicing of medical needs. They need more mental value and aesthetics to improve their quality of life. Even when their health is not good, they need to have both physical and mental treatment. As a result, many leading hospitals start focusing on the other services and the decor in hotel style to provide a relaxing atmosphere for patients, who will surely appreciate this new experience in the hospital.
As Bangkok Hospital Pattaya had realized this point, the new building of the hospital which is the tallest building close to Sukhumvit Rd. was designed. In the 16 th floor we have Executive Ward In patients. When you walk into this floor, you will see the luxury, the superfine and tasteful decor and appreciate the convenience, and the warm and safe ambience. Only the patient's bed will indicate that the room is not one in a 5 star hotel or a luxurious condominium. The hospital beds we have are not just ordinary beds; they are imported from France – at one hundred thousand baht each. The size is larger than normal, so that the tall foreigners can be accommodated safely, with comfort. The bed's capacity is 204 kg, with electronic controls. By just pressing the button, the patient can change the bed height from 18 inches to 72.5 degree to be able to get out of bed without difficulty. The bedding is made of high quality materials and free of dust mites which can cause allergy.
The rooms provides VIP In-patients a wide utility space as we merge two rooms into one room. One is the section for the patient, the other is for his/her relatives or friends. So, the patient can have a “private” room in order to recover rapidly. The rooms are fully furnished complete with : WiFi Internet , LCD 32 TV” with DVD player, Fridge and Free Mini bar, Microwave, Dining table and kitchenware. The price of the room starts from 7,000 Baht. It is worthwhile as all the utilities in the room are included in this price. This is an important step in the development of the hospital which now aims to reach for world standards and to be the Medical Hub of the East.
