History Of Thonburi Hospital Thailand.
1976
Thonburi Hospital Co., Ltd. is established on August 13, 1976 as a 60-bed hospital with a registered capital of 20 million baht.
1977
The hospital becomes operational.
1980
Due to the increasing number of patients, a new 113-bed extension is built with a registered capital of 60 million baht.
1991
Another in-patient building is added, increasing the number of beds to 435 and the registered capital to 300 million baht. Thonburi Hospital II begins operations at Talingchan district with 70 beds.
1994
The company is registered as a public company with the Stock Exchange of Thailand and renamed Thonburi Hospital Plc. on December 2. The Apex Health Care Company Limited and The Apex Health insurance company have been established to allow the completion of Thonburi Health System.
1995
The company expands outside Bangkok to operate 24 affiliated hospitals Thonburi Hospital together with Siam University has set up the Faculty of Nursing Department. Started since 1995 academic year, hundred of nurses had already graduated. A plan is also underway to develop other public health-related programs in the future.
1999
The first "HEALTH GATE CLINIC" is opened on June 1999 to provide primary care services within Bangkok area. Health Gate plans to be a major primary care provider in Bangkok .

At this point of time, there are 24 hospitals (including those in the Bangkok area) located all over the country
